Digital Auto Tuning Sony Bravia Not Working

Digital Auto Tuning Sony Bravia Not Working Rating: 5,6/10 7439 votes

Mar 13, 2010  Hello I have a Sony Bravia television and I have looked in the manual and the instructions are so brief it is ridiculous. Does anybody know how I re-tune / auto-tune my television please in order to receive digital channels. Dec 11, 2014  Answer is very simple: When you select Macedonia, Croatia and some other countries TV does not search all frequencies. Because of some lazy and hasty people in Sony, Philips, LG. Which didn't check all cable providers in those countries. Vst crack melodyne. So when you select DVBC (or before) you have to go to digital settings and choose fully. Use the arrow buttons of your remote to select Settings → System Settings or Set-up → Channel set-up → Digital set-up → Digital Auto Tuning. When asked Do you want to start Auto Tuning?, select Yes or OK. Make your selection between Antenna or Cable. Vst plugin waveshell vst 9.2 _x64 download. When selecting Antenna the auto tuning for Antenna starts at this point.

In anticipation of the upcoming transition and a necessity to be able to tune in certain subchannels which my cable provider doesn't carry, I recently got a ClearStream4 OTA antenna and hooked it up to my year-old Sony Bravia 46' HDTV.
By positioning the antenna about five and a half feet off the ground and pointed to the north north west, I have line-of-sight to Mount Wilson, about 20 miles away, where nearly all of the broadcasts in Los Angeles originate from.
First did a scan for analog channels, and found a bunch in the VHF range but nothing in UHF. Being that the ClearStream4 is noted for its UHF reception, I found this quite odd.
Then I switched over to digital and did a scan. Nothing. Not one channel. Hmm. Maybe I have a setting wrong. I read the manual cover-to-cover. Nope, this is exactly how it should work! Well, maybe I don't have the antenna lined up as well as I think. I spend a couple hours testing and determine that everything is perfect and I'm getting the best possible signal for my location. Still nothing on the digital scan.
OK, well let's hook it up to my EyeTV on my HTPC Mac Mini. What do you know? It found 73 channels! It picks up every single channel in the area.
So, again I go back to the Bravia tuner, read the manual cover-to-cover, look online, and still cannot figure out why it picks up nothing at all. Is this a known issue? Does the tuner just suck that bad? Or, is it broken and I should talk to someone about possible repair?
